The 94.9fm Translator is licensed to Perrysburg Ohio, which is just south of Toledo in Wood county. 94.9 started out as broadcasting the California based Educational Media foundation’s K-love Network, relaying the signal from 96.9fm WNKL from Wauseon OH. Sometime in mid 2014, The K-love Simulcast was dropped and 94.9 started simulcasting 1370 WSPD for a short time. The WSPD simulcast was dropped in favor of “The Yule” a couple days before the launch of The Beat. The Beat is in a crowded competition with 107.3 The Juice WJUC and Hot 97.3 WJZE.
