I think the guy who did the launch was Todd Pettengill (Albany-area native, alum of WFLY, and who would be heard on WKLI with Scott and Todd’s attempt at syndication for a brief time).
The first voice heard here is that of the late Mark Driscoll, who famously put Q102 on the air as a rhythmic Top 40 in 1989. His voice can still be heard as of July 2024 at K104.7 in Poughkeepsie.
