The irony is that CBS used Jeff Buckley’s Last Goodbye was used in both 94.7 and 99.1 as the last song before the format change of both stations.

Thank you for posting this! I used to listen to Fresh FM all the time and I was always wondering what the format change sounded like, but until I found this website I didn’t think I’d be able to find a recording of it anywhere. Didn’t think I’d ever hear their original station ID theme again either. So thanks again!
BTW, I had read on Wikipedia that they played Pink’s “Get This Party Started” as their first song. I do hear that song in this recording, and it’s the first one that actually starts from the beginning, but it only plays the intro. Did they play the whole song but you just cut the rest out so you could fit the stuff after it?
