Thank you for posting the change from Spanish CHR to noncommercial classical 105.9 WQXR on Oct. 8, 2009.
I heard the change on 96.3 but until now was unable to get an excerpt of what it sounded like other than the announcements in Spanish and English about what was going to happen at 8 PM on 105.9.
Since WQXR became a listener supported facility, I have continued to financially support them. I hope this great station will continue for many years.

Well, Midge Woolsey did the first Id on 105.9 FM WQXR New York
City. I’m glad she didn’t say Newark and New York. The co-host of the debut of Listener Supported 105.9 FM WQXR was the replacement to Candace Agree: David Garland, who I think is more mellow than Candy.
